Dominick`s Pizzeria in Newton

Fantastic. Top notch ingredients, friendly staff and you can buy pizza by the slice at lunch if you're in a hurry. My only complaint was the bread was little crunchier then I'm used to with pizza. If that's what you're into then you'll have an even better experience.

Local family owned for decades... Pizza is great but stay to eat for their awesome dinners. Chicken penne with a satisfying punch was my favorite.

This was my first and not last time going here. Food was excellent! Place was clean. Menu was extensive and prices were reasonable. Our server Dana was friendly and very helpful in answering questions about the menu. Hard not to give this place 5 stars!

Always consistent and very good. Sal and Pete are always there , friendly and happy to serve you. It's not often that you such two hard working owners ready to serve. I'm there almost every week. Their lunch buffet cannot be beat

Always welcomed with a smile, and the service and food makes me smile. Fresh, hot and cooked to perfection is what my experience was last night and everything time I've sat down for for a meal at Dominic's. It's not often you can say these words about an establishment who has consistently throughout the years put out quality food and great service. :) 👍👍

I have Celiac Disease, and today I came here and was able to order a calzone (gluten- free!) for the first time in my life! It was not only delicious, but they have a gluten- free menu with lots of options... which always makes an Italian guy like myself happy. I'll definitely be coming back here soon for lunch or dinner! This made my day!

Clean, neat facility in a new location just off Main St. The staff was friendly and professional, the food fresh and tasty. Large portions make for a nice second meal. Definitely will return.

I Went to supper with a friend. We ordered the shrimp and scallop over linguini. The sauce was bitter and the seafood was chewy and over cooked. This was a $20 meal. Sent both meals back. Out comes the chief and begins yelling at us in front of all the eating customers. He said that it was his most popular meal and that was how it was to be cooked. Told me not to order seafood there any more. Also in formed us that the waitress would now have to pay for our meal. I was so upset and kept apologizing to our waitress. I will NEVER RETURN .

It has been a while since we have eaten here, when we go we always enjoy the wide food selection. Try the one person pizza. Yum

This is a much nicer ambience for a restaurant in Newton that I have come across. The service was great, friendly and very warm. As for the food it was very tasty. My Fiancee and I had to ask the servers opinion about the various selections as every option from either the menu specials or regular menu looked great. We ended up ordering from the specials menu as we could not decide. It is a BYOB, so do not be tricked into thinking they have wine on premises.

Great pizza hot and fresh out of oven.

I ordered a personal pizza half bruschetta and half buffalo chicken. The buffalo chicken one was correct but my bruschetta side didn’t have any bruschetta on it. It only had chicken and cheese. It was nasty and dried out😭

Had fried calamari with a sweet and tangy sauce. Very yummy.

Any pie can be made "personal" in size so i can have my mushrooms and sausage and my daughter can have her Hawaiian (pineapple? Yuck!!). Peter makes you feel right at home.

Food has always been great.

Have had the meatball spec, detailed as chicken. ( I had to bring it to the chefs attention ) ( it was written ).

I only had a few minutes to grab something to go. There was a really nice selection of different pizza slices I could choose from. I got white pizza with broccoli and it was really good and quick.

Do I icks is our favorite local italian place. Great food the best pizza around and a wonderful family owned business. Sal and Pete are great guys.

Terrific food and service

Living in south jersey, my spot is Manninos in Pitman. I was working up north and found you guys by accident. So after having your pizza, you are now my number 1 pizza joint and now whenever I’m up in that area working, I will definitely be in! Thanks for creating a a phenomenal 🍕

We've come to Dominick's for more than 20 years and have always enjoyed the family atmosphere and consistently great food. The best pizza in Sussex County!

Asked for Catering order to be delivered 20minutes away and the owner wouldn't even entertain the idea. Not to mentioned I've been patreon of his restaurant almost every week for 7 years.

Not sure what was going on but waiter was slow , pizza crust was hard, and I think the other half on the chicken for my sandwich vanished paper thin and overcooked, way to much garlic and spinach! The one in Franklin makes it better!

The service is constantly fast, good character, welcoming employees. Will return here again when I am nearby.

This place really does have great Italian food. They are really great with large groups, as well as a dinner for 2. They are also great with being allergen friendly, my mom is gluten and dairy free and she can eat here without worrying about cross contamination or anything.

March 14 I ordered a black bean Burger it had toooo much Chipotle mayonnaise it wasn't eatable I even used a paper towel To get some off but even like that was too much good thing I ordered wings they were good... chipotle mayo . Too spicy

My family and I have been going to Domenick’s for years until I discovered I had celiac and had to stay away from pizza (horrible, I know). At first this was very difficult, however Pete and Sal have an extensive gluten free menu and a clean kitchen. As someone who has worked food service for many years, I can’t say this for many restaurants in the Newton area. My wife and kids love to order the Brooklyn pie (not gluten free), and their Penne Vodka with Chicken (gluten free). We recently had them cater a party, and not one person could tell that all of the pasta dishes were gluten free! Simply fantastic food, great service, and clean. Can’t really ask for anything else. Thanks!

Mussels marinara app was delicious. Baked salmon with mango habanero sauce over spinach was awesome! Stuffed shells very good. Deserts very good as well. The only thing better was the service. Definitely will be a go to place for my wife and i!

Our top local choice for pizza and italian dining. Some of our favorites include the Brooklyn Bomb sandwich, the penne a la vodka, the spicey Brooklyn pizza, and the desserts.

Was not sure if I was in the right place being that the outdoor sign said Restuarnt and Catering and Not Dominicks. At first glance, I thought it was an extension of the Chinese Food place. But once inside, there was no mistaken your were at a good pizzeria. Being in sussex county, I cannot imagine many pizzerias that would be as good as Dominicks. By the layout, you can either sit down in the main area or order take out. On a Friday night, the flow of traffic seemed to be a combination of both.The staff was really friendly and attentive. I really liked the bigger glasses for your beverage. We didnt have to keep asking for refills. The bread that they serve before the pizza was outstanding. The pizza itself was a very good slice. Great blend of sauce and cheese. The pie was made with love and you can easy say that they know how to make good pizza. I would recommend stopping in, I will be back at some point.

Best place around for some classic Italian dishes and some great pizza.

I loved this place but the service went way down Hill never ordering from them again.

Food was excellent but did take out to meet my wife and had no utensils luckily my wife had two forks in her lunch bag. Owner gave me two slices of pizza that I ordered but said it was a mistake and didn't change me and also left my drink on counter that he came running out to the parking lot and brought it to me. We've eaten there before and always get excellent food and customer service.

Used to love this place they have great food but the owners are not customer friendly anymore. There are other places your not the only game in town. Your customers are your paycheck you should think about them a little more.

Had Dominick’s cater a repast for our family yesterday. Not only was the food more than reasonably priced, each dish was absolutely delicious. I had two guests comment that usually there is a dish on the buffet that is just ok, but not here. Each dish was beyond expectations. The amount of food they brought to my house I would’ve easily paid double for anywhere else. I was able to send everyone home with ample leftovers. Even my experience with ordering was a pleasure. The delivery person offered to set the entire table up for me and was a delight too! Thank you Dominick’s for helping to make the most difficult day for my family a little easier.

Always very pleased with the food. The service is hit or miss. Today Jan 18, 2020 we had an excellent waitress Dana. She was friendly outgoing and attentive. One of the busboys wasc onstantly looking at his phone and not paying any attention to the customers.

I ordered for delivery through Door Dash, which in itself was great. However, Dominick’s failed when it came to the food. My boyfriend ordered a chicken parm sub. It looked and tasted terrible. I ordered a sausage and pepper sandwich with the request of no sauce and to add onions. Both were ignored. The app stated I’d be contacted if a special request was not an option or unavailable. I was not. That was also pretty terrible. Last but not least, I ordered an appetizer sampler. This included chicken wings, chicken fingers, mozzarella sticks, and broccoli bites. I requested that the broccoli bites be replaced with a second portion of mozzarella sticks if possible. Again, the request was ignored and I was not contacted. The chicken fingers were pitiful. The rest looked pretty bad, as well. I feel like I should be refunded. My boyfriend and I barely ate. It was very disappointing.

Good food, willing to make anything I ask for and it's always excellent. I could probably find a cheaper place but I believe you get what you pay for 😉

They have a awesome lunch menu with huge portions. Very filling and affordable. Something for everyone. My husband who doesn’t usually like Italian said he will go back

Good food, friendly and prompt service. The waiters are some of the nicest you'll meet. Menu has shrunk a little, but what they do, they do well.
